Floor Tape Installation Instructions:

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Ensure floor is completely dry, clean, and free of contaminants such as oils, grease, sand, dirt, dust, curing compounds, mud, and salts. We recommend cleaning the floor with a light detergent & water, or alcohol.

2. Peel backing off tape and apply to floor surface.

3. Firmly and slowly tamp the product in the same direction as it was initally applied. Use a tamper device (with a minimum 200 lb load and a tamping surface at least 2” wider than the tape being used) or slowly drive a heavy piece of machinery, such as a forklift, down the entire run.

• All users should test a small peice of product in an inconpicuous location to ensure good results prior to installing large portions.

• Do not apply product directly on old tape or aisle paint, seams, joints, deteriorat- ing marking or substrates.

• Do not overlap tape- instead use butt splices.

• We recommend tapes applied over seams and joints should be cut back 1” on either side of the joint/seam so as to not leave a gap under the material where air/moisture could potentially de-bond areas of tape.

• If removal is required, place a small flat blade such as a scraper blade under-neath tape and pry up an end of tape, then pull tape slowly in a upward direction at a 90° angle. If tape has not been damaged, material will be removeable intact or in large pieces.
